Early Successional Habitat Forest Walk

The Mass Conn Forest Partnership will hold an Early Successional Habitat Forest Walk at the Norcross Wildlife Sanctuary in Wales on Saturday, May 20^th, from 9 a.m. to noon.

The walk will show how forest management practices can create more diverse habitat for wildlife and how cutting blocks of forest will create early successional or new forest habitats that is in short supply in much of Massachusetts.

Participants should wear sturdy footware, clothing suitable for the weather and bring bug spray.
