Opacum Land Trust will hold an invasives plant tour and removal work bee at the Thompson Family Preserve in Southbridge on April 29th from 10 am to 2 pm.

The program will start with a short guided hike looking at invasive and native plants, led by Americorps/MassLIFT member Sarah Brodeur.  The hike will be followed by a work session from 11:00 to 2:00 pm. to remove invasive plants and improve the natural habitat of this preserve.

Pizza lunch will be provided. Google map reference is 904 Eastford Road (Route 198). Limited parking at site; park carefully along road or in the empty parking lot at the intersection with Dennison Drive just north of the Preserve.
