Massachusetts Project Learning Tree will hold a Forests Curriculum workshop for Middle and High School educators at the Blue Hills Brookwood Community Farm in Canton on July 12th from 10 am to 2:30 p.m.

Extend students’ scientific understanding of forests, and link it to human culture and enterprise by attending this Project Learning Tree secondary modules workshop. The workshop will explain PLT curriculums for forests here in the U.S., and around the world.  Modules include:

Forests of the World provides information and activities analyzing forest types, cultural practices, and resource management globally.   

Focus on Forests includes a forest health analysis based on the U.S. Forest Service’s Forest Inventory Analysis protocol. 

Participants will receive the curriculum guides and handouts.  Certificates of Completion will be awarded.
