All About Otters program

The Northfield Mountain Environmental Center will hold an All About Otters program on Thursday, April 17^th, from 6 to 7:30 pm.

These charismatic animals live in our wetlands and waterways, feeding mainly on fish and crawfish, and are much more common than is generally thought. Ways of detecting their presence through identifying tracks and signs will be discussed, and a video, Otters Etcetera will show the animals in action.

The presenter, David Brown. is a local tracker/naturalist and wildlife videographer as well as the author of books on the art of animal tracking.

The program is free and open to the public. No reservation is required.
