Northern Woodlands will hold a free Big Trees of Northern New England program with author Kevin Martin on December 7th at 6:30 om at the Lyme School in Lyme, New Hampshire

In this program, wooden boat builder and New Hampshire outdoorsman Kevin Martin will discuss his new book, Big Trees of Northern New England.

Martin will explain how he got involved with the Big Tree Program and how it relates to his boat building. He will also discuss the history of the trees, their care and management, and importance to wildlife.

Martin will highlight local trees in the Connecticut River area that you can go find yourself. Book copies will be available for purchase.
