The Nature Conservancy will hold a Bolstering Biodiversity in Massachusetts webinar on May 26th from noon to 1 pm EDT

The Nature Conservancy is collaborating with MassWildlife to produce the BioMap, a climate-smart and dynamic conservation planning blueprint for state agencies, land trusts, and municipalities. BioMap includes the state’s latest biodiversity data and incorporates TNC’s resilience and connectivity science— a mapping system that identifies areas most able to withstand the impacts of climate change and support species into the future.

In this Nature Connects webinar, we’ll hear from Andy Finton, TNC in Massachusetts Conservation Ecologist, and Dr. Eve Schluter, MassWildlife’s Assistant Director for the Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program. They will discuss how BioMap’s vision, tools, and map provide conservation decision-makers the information they need to protect lands and water that are most critical for staving off biodiversity loss and helping to ensure both plant and animal species in Massachusetts are thriving as our climate changes. We hope you can join the conversation.
