Franklin Land Trust will host local author and farmer Emmet Van Driesche at 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 21st for readings from his new book “Carving Out a Living on the Land.”

Van Drieshe will tell stories from his life as a tree farmer and explain the challenges and rewards of taking on someone else’s legacy and carrying it forward.

Copies of his book will be available for purchase.
