The New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association and UNH Cooperative Extension are teaming up to offer Dollars & Cents workshops to help landowners be prudent woodlot owners. Each session starts at 5:30 with live zoom webinar style presentations, discussions and questions/answers to follow with an end time of 7:30 PM.
The New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association and UNH Cooperative Extension will hold a Conservation Easements 101 webinar on November 4th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Estate planning and land protection can be an important part of a landowner’s woodland stewardship. This session will use the publication Protecting your Legacy: A New Hampshire landowner’s guide to conservation-based estate planning.
This workshop, presented by Steve Roberge from UNH Cooperative Extension, and Simon Leeming and Martha Fox, Attorneys from Preti-Flaherty, will cover the relationship between your forest management plan and estate planning; involving family in estate planning; common conservation options, and the role and responsibility of land trusts.
Cost of the workshop is $30 for NHTOA members, $45 for non-members.
