Looking for some help with conservation issues on your property?
The Franklin County Conservation District will hold a Conservation Planning, Practices and Programs workshop on Friday, April 5, 2019, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Deerfield Town Hall, at 8 Conway Street in South Deerfield.
The workshop will discuss the current NRCS programs for farmers and forest land owners that offer technical and financial assistance to help them address natural resource concerns on their land.
Representatives from the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and the Franklin County Conservation District who will present information about conservation planning, conservation practices and how to take part in federal conservation programs.
