The black-legged deer tick (lxodes scapularis) is the primary vector of several tick-borne diseases (TBDs).

Dr. Stephen Rich from the UMass Laboratory of Medical Zoology will discuss the natural history of these ticks and the pathogens they carry to help participants understand how to reduce the risk of Tick Borne Diseases.

This webinar is part of a FREE live webinar series presented noon to 1:00 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of the month in February, March, April, May, and October 2019.
