Penn State Extension’s Center for Private Forests will hold two one-hour Endangered Species Act and Market Opportunities webinars on June 9th at noon and 7 p.m.
These webinars by Melissa Kreye of Penn State’s Department of Ecosystem Science & Management, will discuss the causes of species depletion and the role of the Endangered Species Act (ESA) on species recovery.
Examples will be provided of endangered species in Pennsylvania and other parts of the US and talk about how the ESA is supporting new conservation markets to support private lands. Current challenges to the ESA will also be discussed.
