UMass Extension will hold a one-hour Invasive Insects of Trees & Shrubs in Massachusetts Update webinar on June 30th from noon to 1 pm.

This presentation by Extension entomologist Tawny Simisky will provide a brief overview of current updates on the status of many invasive insect pests of trees and shrubs in Massachusetts.

Species discussed will include gypsy moth, winter moth, emerald ash borer, Asian longhorned beetle, and a quick mention of the spotted lanternfly. Management information will be mentioned, with an emphasis on natural enemies and biological control.
