UNH Extension will hold a Maple Sugar Bush Management workshop at the Prescott Farm Environmental Education Center in Laconia, NH on March 22nd from 1 to 4 pm.

Extension Forest Resource Specialists Lindsay Watkins and Steve Roberge will explain how to manage maple sugar bushes large and small. Participants can learn management strategies that will keep your sugar bush producing sap for many years to come while also benefit local wildlife.

Participants should dress for walking outdoors as we walk into Prescott Farm’s sugar bush. Snowshoes or micro spikes will be provided.

Cost of this workshop is $15 for non-members, free for Prescott Farm members
