The American Wood Council will hold a day long virtual seminar on Mass Timber Building and the International Building Code on August 25th from 10 am to 5 pm EDT.

This seminar will provide an overview of mass timber which includes any product currently permitted for use in Type IV (heavy timber) construction such as cross-laminated timber (CLT), structural composite lumber (SCL), glue laminated timber (glulam),  mechanically laminated decking (aka nail-laminated timber, NLT), and large section sawn timbers.
