The spring Massachusetts Forest Forum will be held on Wednesday, May 16th from 3:00-7:30 pm at the Harvard Forest Fisher Museum in Petersham.

Sam Lincoln, Deputy Commissioner at the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation and a Master Logger and dairy farmer will talk to us about his work to help improve the forest economy in Vermont through a comprehensive list of approaches including costs of doing business, business approaches, markets and other ideas. 

Dr. Peggi Clouston, Associate Professor at UMass will give an update on her work testing and modeling the use of MA species in cross laminated timber applications.

There will also be an update on EEA forest activities from Assistant Secretary for the Environment Dan Sieger.
