New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association in conjunction with NORTRAX will hold a Mechanized Timber Harvesting: Maximizing Your Operational Efficiency workshop on May 2nd from 8 am to 3 pm in Pembroke, NH.
The computers on board modern logging equipment are constantly recording vital information to help make your harvesting operation more efficient. Knowing how to retrieve and analyze this data can streamline your operator training program, decrease your machine maintenance costs, and increase your business profit.
These workshops focus on harvest system navigation units and production tracking. They include workshops focusing on Timber Navi computer mapping program operation and data collection (presented through live demonstrations) and the Timber Office program, an integrated suite of software solutions designed for contractors and forest companies to track forest production and efficiency.
