Thinking about making improvements to your woodlot to attract pollinators? Maybe birds, deer or rabbits are more your thing? Whatever you’re trying to attract, join Tree Farmers Ginny and Tom Chrisenton and our other instructors for a unique perspective on managing land to support pollinators and other wildlife.

The workshop will focus on:

  • Establishing and maintaining pollinator plantings
  • Creating habitat to attract wildlife
  • Using timber harvesting to benefit wildlife
  • Discussing financial assistance available through NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service) to help you

The morning will be spent walking on easy to moderate grades. Participants should wear long pants and sturdy shoes. The program will be held rain or shine, so be prepared for all types of weather and insects, including ticks. Bring water.

Pre-registration is required. To register, call UNH Cooperative Extension at 603-641-6060, or email ce.hillsborough@unh.edu.
