Does your private forest land have a stewardship quality forest plan or wildlife management plan?
Conservation practices can be used to increase timber production, diversity of terrestrial and aquatic wildlife habitats and provide access to forest stands needing work.
Licensed Technical Service Providers (TSP’s) can be hired to write these plans; Natural Resources Conservation Service can help fund plans through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
UNH Extension and the Natural Resources Conservation Service will hold an NRCS Cost-Sharing & EQIP Stewardship Plans workshop at the Conservation Center in Concord, NH on June 2nd from 6 to 7:30 pm
Cost of this program is $15 for NHTOA members, $25 for non-members. (A light dinner will be provided.)
