What should federal assistance priorities be for landowners and resource professionals in Massachusetts?  That’s what NRCS’ Local Working Group would like to hear about.

USDA’s Massachusetts Natural Resources Conservation Services Local Working Group will hold a NRCS Natural Resources Priorities Meeting on Zoom on September 29th from noon to 2 pm.

Agricultural producers, owners/operators of non-industrial private forest land, professionals representing agricultural and natural resource interests, and individuals representing a variety of disciplines in the soil, water, wetland, plant, forestry, and wildlife sciences are invited to attend the online Local Working Group (LWG) meeting to help Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) identify natural resources priorities.

To receive the Zoom link to participate in the meeting, email Austin Miles at amilesmacd@gmail.com

If you can’t attend the Zoom meeting, you can still participate by completing a survey at https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=5zZb7e4BvE6GfuA8-g1Gl-nGBa26SrtElIDrwQSV1j1UM01FQVdOSk9IQVRXRzhNWFdWSUwyS1ZEOS4u.  Definitions of resources referred to in the survey.

Answers to this survey will not only structure the LWG meeting, but will guide NRCS’s work going forward.
