Preventing Tick-Borne Illnesses program

Are you worried about getting Lyme disease or other ailments from tick bites?

The Hitchcock Center for the Environment will hold a “From Fear to Confidence, Preventing Tick-Borne Illnesses, program on November 27^th from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

After a brief presentation by Ted Watt on the natural history and life cycles of ticks, Dr. Stephen Rich, chief medical zoologist for the Laboratory of Medical Zoology at UMass, will present his findings from more than 12 years of tick testing.
