Massachusetts Project Learning Tree will hold a Focus on Forests and Teaching with Itree workshop for secondary educators at the Notch Visitors Center in Amherst on March 13th from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm.
PLT’s curriculums, developed for different age/grade levels, fosters awareness, engages critical thinking skills and promotes constructive action. The interdisciplinary “hands-on; minds-on” curriculum is designed for diverse teaching and learning styles.
Ideal for middle and high school educators, Focus on Forests, provide in-depth investigations and activities that build critical thinking and responsible decision-making skills.
At all workshops, participants try out and discuss activities with peers in a collegial setting. Learn more about Project Learning Tree® and its on-line resources, receive the curriculum guide(s), other handouts, and a Certificate of Completion.
