The New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a special showing of Ethan Tapper’s Reimaging Forestry: Forest Management in a Changed and Changing World on Thursday, March 23rd from 7 to 8:30 pm EDT

As our forests face an unprecedented array of crises and stressors, forest managers and forest stewards are forced to respond to an incredible array of challenges and threats at once. While the work that we do is vital and nuanced, it is often misunderstood by the public in favor of a simplistic and incomplete view of what it means to care for forests.

Most people are in favor of forest management – they just don’t know it yet. In this presentation, Vermont forester Ethan Tapper will discuss managing forests to address this strange and unprecedented moment in time, and also how we can communicate the work that we do in a way that is engaging and exciting to the public.

The showing will be followed by a live Q&A with Ethan Tapper.
