The New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association and UNH Cooperative Extension are teaming up to offer Dollars & Cents workshops to help landowners be prudent woodlot owners. Each session starts at 5:30 with live zoom webinar style presentations, discussions and questions/answers to follow with an end time of 7:30 PM.

The New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association and UNH Cooperative Extension will hold a Selling Timber: Do It Right! webinar on October. 21st from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Selling timber is a once in a lifetime activity for most landowners. No single activity has such power to significantly improve or degrade your forest.

Proper harvesting can provide income, improve wildlife habitat, healthy forests and vigorous forests, and improve access.

This webinar, presented by Jim Frohn from UNH Cooperative Extension, Jeremy Turner from Meadowsend Timberlands, and Mary Welles from Farm Credit East, will discuss topics such as landowner goals and objectives, the role of foresters and loggers, timber sale contracts, laws and taxes.

Cost of the workshop is $30 for NHTOA members, $45 for non-members
