Selling timber is a once in a lifetime activity for many landowners.  No single activity has such power to significantly improve or degrade your forest.  Proper harvesting can provide income, improve wildlife habitat, promote healthy forests and vigorous forests, and improve access.

NHTOA and UNH Cooperative Extension will hold an online Selling Timber workshop on November 4th from 7 to 8:30 pm.

This workshop, led by Extension forester Jim Frohn, and attorney Mary Welles from Farm Credit East, will cover landowner goals and objectives, the role of foresters and loggers, timber sale contracts, laws and taxes.

Cost is $5 for NHTOA members, $15 for non-members.

To register, contact NHTOA at (603)224-9699 or info@nhtoa.org, or visit the events page at nhtoa.org or  contact the office with questions.
