A Massachusetts Land Conservation Conference webinar on Sustainable Trails: Preserving our Pathways to Nature will be held on April 27th at noon
From rough slough to tough duff. This workshop, presented by Jonas Bruggeman from TerraCorps and Bill Giezentanner of the Wellesley Conservation Council, will cover the basics of sustainable trail design, permitting, building and maintenance.
It will feature a virtual walk through Mass Audubon Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary’s learning, successes and challenges with its changing trails. Climate change and increasing human use will have a continued impact on our trails and we will need to prepare for it.
