Cornell’s College of Agriculture & Life Sciences will hold a The Science Behind Carbon Sequestration: Nature Based Solutions to Climate Change webinar on June 4th from 3 to 4 pm.

Learn about the current science on forest carbon sequestration, a nature-based way to provide positive solutions to solving our climate crisis with presentations by Dr. Julia Burton and Dr. Robert Malmsheimer from SUNY-Environmental Science & Forestry, and by Dr. Timothy Fahey & Dr. Peter Woodbury from Cornell CALS

Participants will come away with an overview of New York state forest history and the influence of forestry management and regeneration practices on forest carbon sequestration.
