Understanding Coyote Behavior program

Want to know more about coyotes and coyote behavior?

On Tuesday, March 26, Sudbury Valley Trustees are presenting a photo and video presentation by Jon Way, an expert on eastern coyotes and coywolves. The event will focus on coyote ecology and behavior, and the interbreeding of eastern coyotes with western coyotes and wolves.

“Understanding Coyote Behavior” will be held at 7 p.m. at the First Parish Church, 327 Concord Road in Sudbury.

Way is founder of Eastern Coyote/Coywolf Research, a Massachusetts-based organization that promotes ecological and behavioral research on coyotes and coywolves. He is also the author of “Suburban Howls,” an account of his studying eastern coyotes in Massachusetts.

Sudbury Valley Trustees is a nonprofit land trust that works to protect natural areas in the region surrounding the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord rivers. The trustees is presenting the program in partnership with WayDOG, a Wayland dog owners group.
