Wildfire in Northern New England program

A common misconception is that wildfire is not a threat in New England. However, history tells a different story.

UNH Extension will hold a Wildfire in Northern New England program at the Last Chair Brewery in Plymouth, NH on March 8^th from 2 – 3:30 pm.

John Neely from the New Hampshire Department of Natural & Cultural Resources will discuss past wildfires in New England and how fire has become an increasing occurrence with the onset of climate change.

John Neely has been working with wildfire and controlled burning in New England for over 20 years.
