UNH Cooperative Extension will hold a Wildlife Habitat: Tree Nuts for Turkeys & Other Wildlife tour on Saturday, April 24th from 9 am to noon in Deerfield NH
NHTOA member and landowner Roscoe Blaisdell, UNH Cooperative Extension Wildlife Specialist Matt Tarr, and National Wild Turkey Federation Biologist Matt DiBona will host a woodlot tour discussing what food do turkey and other wildlife prefer and get the best nutrition from?
Participants will learn what species of trees are mast producing trees and how you may be able to increase the presence of these species on their property.
This workshop will take place outside, please dress appropriately for the weather.
COVID safety protocols will be provided to registrants and must be followed.
Cost of this tour is $15 for NHTOA members, $25 for non-members
