The Massachusetts Military Division is seeking bids for whole tree harvesting of a 46-acre training area at Camp Edwards to restore maneuver access for the National Guard’s training site. The harvesting would mechanically remove pitch pine, black oak and white oak from the site to create a patchy habitat area that will aid training at the National Guard base.
