Carbon Pricing in Massachusetts: Key to Solving a Warming Climate

Westfield State University’s Environmental Science Department will hold a Carbon Pricing in Mass  Forum at the Dever Auditorium on May 8^th at 6 p.m.

Legislation has been proposed to create a state-wide carbon fee and rebate that would supposedly create jobs, provide better health and reduce carbon emissions.

Panelists for the program include:

Representative Jen Benson, lead sponsor of H 1726 which addresses state-wide carbon pricing

Dr. Carsten Braun, climate scientist and professor at WSU

Dr. Marc Breslow, Director of Policy & Research at ClimateXChange

Dr. Margaret Bulllitt-Jonas, author, minister and climate activist.
