UMass Amherst

As material prices soar, labor availability plummets and shipping delays cause mass chaos in the building world, there remains the need to provide affordable, safe, energy efficient housing for the majority of the population.
The Building & Construction Technology Program at UMass will host an Affordable High Performance Construction and the COVID Era lecture on February 7th at 4 pm at the Olver Design Building Room 170 and online.
Seth Lawrence-Slavas, President and Principal at Wright Builders Inc., will explore the real-life world of project development, estimating, physical construction and how to manage the unexpected and expected consequences of the virus.
This lecture is free and open to the public. Lecture will be live in the Olver Design Building, room 170, or via Zoom.
To participate remotely, register at www.umass.science/bctlectures
AIA & USGBCI CES credits are available.
