Bird Walk at Whetstone Woods

Vermont Land Trust & Southeastern Vermont Audubon will hold a Bird Walk at Whetstone Woods in Brattleboro on May 12^th from 7 to 9 am

The walk will explore Whetstone Woods for a morning of birding through shrubby fields, a wooded stream, and pine, hardwood, and mixed species woodland habitats. Participants will look for recent returning migrants and local year-round birds. Louisiana waterthrush, merlin, and blue-winged warbler have been seen in this location in past years (no guarantees for this year, though) and scarlet tanager, indigo bunting, and eastern wood pewee are regulars.
