It has been reported that, since 1970, North America has lost nearly 3 billion birds, with eastern forest birds seeing a 17% decline. Although habitat loss is considered to be the top threat to wildlife, there are ways to reverse this trend by incorporating wildlife habitat into your forest management plan.

New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a 90 minute Forestry for the Birds webinar on August 17th from 7 to 8:30 pm.

In this webinar, Kristen Meistrell, Vice President of Stewardship with NJ Audubon will explain ways we can use forestry to improve habitats  for birds and other wildlife.
