Winter Tree ID webinar

New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a 90 minute Winter Tree ID webinar on Thursday, January 18^th from 7 to 8:30 pm.

This webinar will start with a brief introduction on “How to ID trees”, then focus on actual species identification.

Some of the species that will be included are Maple, Acer,  Beech, Fagus, Oak, Quercus, and, if there’s time…Black Birch, Betula lenta, Black Cherry, Prunus serotina, Hickory, Carya, and Ash, Fraxinus

The webinar will be presented by Kieran Hunt, Manager of Operational Analytics with Asplundh.
