Penn State Extension will hold 2 one-hour Managing Single-Aged Forest webinars on February 14th at noon and 7 p.m.
Many woodlands contain trees of a single age group.
These webinars, presented by Penn State Forest Resources Educator Kimberly Bohn, will teach participants how to manage these woodlands through all stages of development, from early and intermediate treatments to improve stand conditions to final harvests to creating new forests through regeneration.
These webinars have been approved for 1 credit hour (0.25 years) Pennsylvania SFI® CE, and for 1.0 Society of American Foresters CFE credit, Category 1-CF.
