Penn State Extension will hold 2 one-hour Creating Age Diversity in Forests webinars on March 14th at noon and 7 p.m.

Woodlands with different age classes of trees, called “uneven-aged” forests provide a number of different ecosystem values than single-aged forests.

These webinars, presented by Forest Resources Educator Kimberly Bohn, will cover the proper techniques for creating and maintaining age diversity, as well as covering both the benefits and potential limitations that age diversity provides to forest ecosystems.

These webinars are approved for 1 credit hour (0.25 years) Pennsylvania SFI® CE, as well as 1.0 Society of American Foresters CFE credit, Category 1-CF.
