The Department of Conservation & Recreation will hold a Chapter 132 Timber Harvester Workshop on June 4th at the Peru State Forest on Middlefield Road in Peru from 1 to 4 pm..

This workshop will include a 20 year post clearcut review, a review of a roadside ash salvage operation, discussion of wetland BMPs, and DCR cost-share opportunities for harvesters.

Directions:  From Route 132 in Peru, take Curtin Road south 3.8 miles to old log landing on east side of road in Peru State Forest.
