Getting Paid to Grow Healthy Forests Tour

Interested in earning some income from your woods while making a difference for future generations?

Vermont Woodlands Association and the Vermon Tree Farm Program will hold a Getting Paid to Grow Healthy Forests Tour at Glenn Rogers Tree Farm in Milton, VT on Sunday, September 15^th from 1 to 3 pm.

Glenn Rogers is a Vermont Tree Farmer who has actively managed his land for more than 30 years.

This tour will give participant a chance to see how Glenn has improved the health and value of his woods through multiple timber harvests. It will provide an opportunity to learn the practical aspects of woodland management from someone with decades of experience.

We’ll also discuss the challenges of woodland ownership, such as dealing with Class 3 roads and addressing unwanted visitors.
