Common nighthawks are on the move in the third week of August with one of the longest migration routes of all North American birds.

Mass Audubon’s Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary will hold a Nighthawks Presentation and Watch at the Sanctuary in Easthampton on Thursday, August 21st beginning at 5 pm.

Meet at Arcadia for an indoor presentation at 5 pm and then head outside for a relaxing walk watching the skies for these aerial insectivores.
