Black bears can be a major problem for bee keepers.

Mass Wildlife will hold a Beekeeping and Black Bears Online Presentation on November 17^th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm

In this presentation, Mass Wildlife Black Bear & Furbearer Biologist Dave Wattles will discuss black bear behavior and how beekeepers can take effective steps to prevent hive damage from bears.
