Michigan State University will hold a Forestry Analytics for Carbon Tracking webinar on April 1st from 3 to 4 pm ET

This talk by Edie Sonne Hall from Three Trees Consulting and Jane Alonso from Alonso Strategic Consulting, will give an overview of a new digital platform, being created through a public-private partnership, that will provide transparent, standardized, and accessible forest carbon data all in one place, designed to meet the needs of people who grow, produce and use products made from American forests.

Using USDA Entity Level Guidelines, Forestry Inventory and Analysis (FIA) data, as well as data from published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), the platform will serve as the primary source of information and data on carbon flows across U.S. forest lands, harvested wood products, and end-use life cycle. The site will be free and publicly accessible.
