Vermont Audubon and Vermont Woodlands Association will hold a Birding in the Sugarbush Forest Walk at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington, VT on May 28th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

The walk will feature the managed sugarbush, forest demonstration sites, and wetlands that support a diverse host of migrating and breeding forest birds at GMAC. Audubon Vermont has partnered with Vermont Youth Conservation Corps on two recent forest management projects, which will also be highlighted along the way.

Parking is available at the main GMAC lot at 250 Sherman’s Hollow Rd. The walk route is on mostly level terrain, but will include forested trails with roots and rocks, as well as some steps and steep sections. Bring comfortable walking shoes that you don’t mind getting wet!
