Mass Tree Wardens & Foresters Association will hold a Storm Response Rigging workshop at the Watertown Commanders Mansion in Watertown, MA on June 17th from 10 am to 2 pm

This workshop will show videos of the injury disaster potential and lack of control from approaching wires and trees under tension in storm conditions the traditional way and why the practice doesn’t exactly provide safety to the extent needed.

New industry approaches to solving these hazards will be shown with methods that are much more predictable, controlled, and proven successful during Hurricane Helene along with sharing some case studies of jobs that went wrong and why.

This session will feature real recreated scenarios with wood stem piece and wires established.

The field portion allows one to see how it is rigged and how we achieve the lowered risk and predictable control. 3 CEUs Pending.

Cost of this training is $50 for MTWFA members, $75 for non-members
