Tree Wardens & Foresters 2026 Field Day

The Mass Tree Wardens & Foresters will hold their Tree Wardens & Foresters 2026 Field Day on Wednesday, August 26^th from 8 am to 3 pm at the Upland Sportsman Club in Plympton, MA

The Field Day includes educational session, skills events, exhibitors, raffle prizes and a chicken bake lunch.

Invasives

Knots to Know

Chainsaw Sharpening Basics

Basic Tree Felling Techniques

Skills Events:

Chainsaw Challenge. Reigning champion: Tom Brady. This is a timed event. The participant who can reassemble a torn-down chainsaw the fastest wins! First Place: $100 Second Place: $75 Third Place: $50

NEW for 2026 Throw Line: Participants attempt to hit targets suspended from an aerial lift. First Place: $100 Second Place: $75 Third Place: $50

Proceeds from this event will benefit the MTWFA Scholarships.

Cost of the Field Day is $30 for MTWF Members, $50 for Non-Members & Exhibitors
