The American Forest Foundation is in the process of considering revisions of its Standards for Sustainability which set the standards for what landowners must meet for their land to be certified as a Tree Farm.

The National Association of Conservation District’s  Forestry Resource Policy Group will hold a one-hour A Closer Look at the Tree Farm Standards webinar on August 11th at 10 am EDT.

The webinar will cover proposed updates to the American Tree Farm System’s Standards for Sustainability. The webinar begins at 10 a.m. and will provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions directly of the American Tree Farm staff about the standard and the proposed changes.

Taking part in the webinar will be Jasen Stock from New Hampshire Timberland Owners Association, Leigh Peters, Certification Manager for the American Forest Foundation, and Kayti Brinkman, Northern Region Manager for the Tree Farm System.
