Discover the critical role bats play in maintaining a healthy ecosystem and learn about the pressing threats they face in this virtual program.

The Andover Memorial Hall Library is hosting an All About Bats public presentation on Thursday, October 17th at 7 pm on Zoom. The presentation will be led by MassWildlife’s Bat Conservation Program Coordinator, Jen Longsdorf, and will discuss bat biology, common myths, and conservation efforts.

This program will explore the importance of bat conservation, the impact of declining bat populations, and the efforts underway by MassWildlife to protect these remarkable mammals. Throughout the program learn about some myths and facts about bats, while gaining a deeper understanding of why bats matter and how we can contribute to their preservation.
