Vermont Land Trust is holding a two-part series on the best practices of pruning and maintaining apple trees.
Vermont Land Trust will hold an Apple Tree Pruning Hands-on Workshop in Tunbridge, Vermont on Saturday, March 9th from 9 to 11 am.
This is a hands-on apple pruning workshop. Dave Wilcox will review the basics, then participants will break into small groups to work on individual trees.
If you are looking for a chance to practice your pruning skills and become more comfortable in making pruning cuts, this workshop is for you!
Participants are encouraged to bring their own pruning tools and to dress accordingly as the event will take place rain or shine.
