Everyone knows bark. It is the ‘stuff’ that covers trunks of trees and shrubs. It is also the ‘stuff’ only a few people seem to admire and even fewer really understand. However, if you take a moment to study various plants, you will notice the incredible variation in both texture and color of the bark from one plant to another.

New Jersey Forestry Association will hold a 90 minute BARK Basics webinar on December 21st from 7 to 8:30 pm.

What makes bark so uniquely different, and in some cases, so incredibly attractive just begs for a closer look!

In this webinar,  Bruce Crawford, Manager of Horticulture at Morris County Park System, shares his knowledge and appreciation of BARK!
