The UMass Transportation Center will hold a Best Management Practices for Beaver Control workshop at the Berlin Municipal Building in Berlin, MA on May 5th from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
This workshop will cover beaver behavior, best management practices, and Massachusetts regulations and permitting process. Learn about pond-leveler pipes and culvert protection strategies. Includes afternoon site visits for hands-on location-specific analysis. Dress for the elements!
This workshop series is geared for DPW/Highway Department personnel. Private sector participants with an interest in the subject matter are welcome.
Cost of this workshop is $75 for municipal employees – $150 for private sector employees.
